Centralized Environmental Data Collection and Database

Tridel provides centralized data collection system that allows data collection from numerous locations as well as management and remote maintenance of geographically distributed network of stations. Centralized database provides long-term archiving, reporting and its data serve as input parameters for the modeling system and GIS applications. The real-time as well as historical data and/or early warnings are therefore present everywhere and every time they are needed, thus helping decision makers in control and planning of marine transport, industrial operation or environmental protection activities.

  • integrated data collection from automatic weather stations and / or Manned Weather Stations – synoptic, climatological stations, agro-meteorological stations, comprehensive solutions for national meteo-services.
  • Collection systems, processing and archiving data, meteorological communication systems.
  • Climatological and operational database system.
  • Numerical weather forecast, forecasting systems for hazardous phenomena, warnings.

Bringing Environmental Data Together

We provide custom developed platforms that are based on open architecture, scalable system configuration and multi-platform support and are user configurable. In addition to combining data from different sensors and diverse monitoring platforms, objective of bringing environmental data together is to get more information from multiple data platforms than we would from using just one data set in isolation. It leverages technology by presenting comprehensive information to enable better decision-making on environmental issues highlighting the social, ecological and economic implications.

Integrated Spatial Database for Topographic and Hydrographic Data

Coastal zones all along the world is witnessing one of the most significant urban and industrial expansion in human history. The planning and implementation of land and marine data collection with an efficient management of the resulting database is of at most importance for coastal development and sustainability. Sorting and integration of land and marine spatial data is a complex procedure which require to interact with different data sources and testing QA/QC procedures, prior to importing into a unified database server.

Tridel provides a spatial database server capable of storing all data in one database repository and using a unique Feature Object Identifier (FOID) for each spatial geometry from vector maps and nautical charts. Based on ORACLE platform, Tridel spatial database imports and seamlessly integrates all geometric attributes by assigning a single FOID to each entity.

The database is based on RDBMS platform and provides long-term archiving and reporting. The data may be published using a web based application as well as through a custom build mobile application to read the products of maps or raster nautical charts type INT1/BSB or S57. The database structure is based on IHO theoretical data model for the geometry type Point, Line and Area (P, L, A). Parallel to the database structure we can add additional features which include metadata for products creation.

Our Topographic plus Hydrographic Database solution include management tools for data QA/QC as well as interfaces to environmental data. Users can use a GIS system for accessing the data, ran an update and analysis the environmental data without affecting existing products. The real-time data as well as historical data stored in the database and/or early warnings are therefore available for helping decision makers in planning and management of coastal environmental.

Integrated Environmental and Survey Data Platforms

Tridel develops customized software for environmental monitoring and survey data collection, management and publishing.
